We welcome applications to join our gardening training and volunteering experience. We take the approach that anyone can become a gardener no matter what previous skills or experience. We encourage everyone to learn and share our passion for gardening.
We understand that gardening is both an art and a science. There are many different aspects of gardening to learn and experience depending on your personal style and ambition. You can choose your own path.
The ELVES team believes that gardens are a place of wellbeing at home. All our gardeners are considered part of a social care landscape in Dumfries whereby we take great care and empathy to ensure our clients are able to enjoy their garden 'at home' either actively or passively.
Through the winter we are offering work experience training days for people 16+ with additional support needs from 11-3pm for £90.
